Great Book Exchange
This fun event is free for ALL Sugar Creek students. Students donate gently used books they have outgrown. Later all students shop for free books! They can pick out up to one less than the number they donated or up to 6 books total (If a student donates 4 books, they shop for 3 books; if donating 7+ books, they shop for 6 books).  The event is free to all students. Every kid will take home at least 1 book AND THE BOOKS ARE YOURS FOREVER.

Teacher Appreciation
The teachers and staff at Sugar Creek Elementary School are simply amazing. They deserve our profound gratitude for their endless dedication to creating an stimulating learning environment for our children. To show our thanks for all they do, the PTO coordinates a monthly appreciation event for every member of the Sugar Creek Elementary staff. THANK YOU SUGAR CREEK STAFF for going above and beyond for our kids!!!

Kindergarten Welcome
The incoming Kindergarten Welcome events are many!  Each summer, the PTO hosts about 4 playground dates in the evenings in July and August for incoming Kindergarten families on the upper playground at Sugar Creek. This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow classmates so that come the first day of school the kids will see familiar faces.  Also, the PTO hosts a Coffee & Kleenex event the morning of the first full day of Kindergarten for all Kindergarten parents.  We encourage all parents to come, have a cup of coffee and breakfast treat, and meet other parents, whether shedding a tear or jumping for joy.
