Incoming Principal Letter

Dear Sugar Creek School Community,

It is with incredible excitement and a deep sense of responsibility that I introduce myself as the incoming Principal of Sugar Creek Elementary School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school community that is so clearly dedicated to fostering both academic excellence and a culture of care.

My journey in education has always been driven by the belief that a school should be a second home, a place where every child feels safe to take the risks involved in learning, curious enough to ask "why," and supported by strong educators to succeed.

My Vision for Sugar Creek

As we embark on this journey together, my goals are:

  • Student-Centered Learning: Ensuring every instructional decision is made with the diverse needs of our students at the forefront, including ensuring all students have access to the educational, social, and emotional support they need to feel valued and affirmed.

  • Empowering our Educators: Supporting our staff is a top priority. I am committed to providing the resources, professional growth, and collaborative environment our teachers need to thrive, ensuring they feel valued and inspired every day.

  • Open Communication: Building a bridge between home and school through transparency, active listening, and clear communication.

When I’m not at school I love spending time with my husband Mike, our 2 year old daughter Genevieve and dog Duncan. We love to read books together as well as spend time outside, enjoying Wisconsin’s parks and riding our bikes.

I am incredibly grateful for Mr. Brunner’s mentorship and support, which have been instrumental in helping me to grow into a confident and capable leader. I look forward to continuing to grow my relationships with our students, families, and staff. I am truly energized to begin this chapter and I cannot wait to work with each of you to continue to make Sugar Creek a great place to learn and grow.
